"This place is a nightmare!! Ruined my dress… the only embellishment on the dress, a pretty belt I had paid a professional seamstress to add, was broken in 4 places and missing stones. When I asked what happened the man said ‘I don’t know’ and shrugged his shoulders. He could not care less that the dress was damaged and assumed zero responsibility. And then told me I owed $75!!!! To dry clean a dress!!! That was returned damaged!?!? Wow! Some way to do business. Maybe notify people when they drop-off you’re going to rob them when they come to pick-up…. and be accountable for your bad work. Looking at reviews now I’ve no idea how they’re still in business. Awful!!"

"Dropped off a sweatshirt to have 4 iron on patches sewn on that were falling off. She then told me that it would be 3$ a piece but the one was bigger so it would be 6$ for that one for a total of 15$ which I was more then happy to pay for in which I did on pickup. I started to walk out to my vehicle to find out they didn’t do anything so I brought it back in and she told me she was so sorry that it happened and it would be another week. I said ok things happen no problem. I go to pick it up today and she then says oh it’s an extra 45$ because it was a thicker material. What a joke?!?! I told her we agreed on a price and I already paid you for the service that never happened. I will never go back here and I will make sure I let people know how shady this place really is !!!!!"

"I should start this out by saying I usually don't oppose someone's pricing, as that is what they feel their time is worth. But price gouging and choosing a price on a whim or how you feel that day is totally unacceptable. Last summer I dropped off a dress for pressing only. My husband had dress pants let out, cleaned and pressed and was charged less than I was. I chalked it up to maybe it's more for women's garments 🤷🏾‍♀️. Last week I dropped off 4 summer dresses to just take in an inch on each side. Just in the waist area. Picked up the dresses days later to be told that would be $160. My jaw dropped in disbelief. Maria the attendant there tried to tell me she asked if I wanted the price and I said no...😳 There are no listed alteration prices. I then decided to check other reviews and saw the same complaints. They purposely don't give a price in advance then charge an exorbitant price. Makes sense why they have a 2.8 rating. And I honestly don't think they care. I paid more in alterations than I paid for all the dresses together. They won't get my business again."

"My experience doesn't match other reviewers so I wanted to take the time to share. - One, they are not a cash only business, they simply don't take credit or debit cards, which is not uncommon with West Milford businesses. They will take checks if you happen to have them, so it's good to be prepared if you rely on cards. - Two, the pricing depends on what you want done, which is why it's not given upfront. I've had tailors and cleaners express to me before it depends on the persistence of the stain or how much I decide I want tailored. In my experience, the pricing is reasonable, and actually more affordable than going to a tailor or seamstress, even when I wanted something done next day. I wanted Abbie's to trim a dress and have it done next day, and the woman told me it would be around $120 because of the material, without including the rush fee (if my memory serves correctly). It was $20 here. - Three, I've never had the service be anything less than pleasant! I like the handful of people I've seen in there, and they've never disappointed me. - Four, the ownership has been the same for well over a year because I've seen them in there, so I don't agree with the ownership change review. This is misinformation. Overall, if you come prepared, have appropriate expectations, and are familiar with the priciness of other related businesses, it's a good experience. If you don't like that they don't give the price upfront, I recommend you go elsewhere and pay the extra money to have that guarantee."

"Was charged close to $70 for a couple items to then pick them up fully stained each and every one of them with a brown burned like stain that he claims Was on every piece please do not go here if you do not want your clothes to be stained up warning!!! And when I pointed out the stains and was talking to him about it. He acted as if he didn’t speak any English."
